A: Dale,
I think that the type of fast that was described in the previous post is the best type of fast for weight regulation. Simply put, switching the diet in favor of raw, organic, unprocessed foods instead of processed foods that are high in white sugar, white flour, trans-fats, and chemicals is a path toward health and a better body composition for just about everyone. Exercise is also very important; humans are designed to be active and it is a necessity for most people if they would like to manage their weight. Walking, bicycling, swimming (preferably in a non-chlorinated pool), hiking, yoga, tai chi, using a mini-trampoline, moderate weight training, and many other fun activities can help you to stay active and increase the metabolism. I would also suggest investigating, in addition to the Oxy-Powder, the weight loss supplement, Slimirex. This contains 9 of the most popular and well-researched ingredients on the market in one single formula. It does not contain any ephedrine, caffeine, or other central-nervous system stimulants. It addresses several different issues that relate to weight loss. Please keep in mind that healthy, sustainable weight loss for most people is around 2-4 pounds per week. It may be more initially depending on the protocol you follow, but often slows down after the initial loss of water weight.

I am a strong advocate of juice fasting. My wife and I bought a Champion Juicer a few years back and it has changed our lives. The majority of the juice is organic carrot juice, but we mix in other vegetables such as beets and apples as well. We also like to mix in a powered barley grass product like BarleyGreen. (I actually prefer a different product called Green Alchemy, but it's difficult to find offline - I have to order it on the internet.)

Anyway, juice fasting will help you to not only lose weight, but you'll feel great while you're doing it. Best of luck!

How do weight loss pills work? Is it safe to use them for weight loss? I'm 14 and I'm 4'6 and I weigh 68 pounds. I'm a competitive gymnast and fat is really not good so I need to lose weight. Some of the girls on my team use weight loss pills, and they say they work really well. Oh and also are they expensive? Do you need a prescription?
