A person suffering from one serious condition can be handled. But there are various conditions interlinked which lead from one problem to another. And one of them is diabetes that can ultimately lead a person to male impotency. Also if this condition is not cured on time, it may lead to other serious problems. A diabetic person suffering from impotence is one of the most common male medical conditions.

Impotence (erectile dysfunction) is defined as the inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse, and includes the inability to get an erection as a result of sexual stimulation or to lose your erection prior to ejaculation.

When your body is unable to produce or process insulin properly it results in Diabetes. Insulin is a hormone and it is required to convert sugar and starches into energy. Insulin is required to make the body work efficiently.

Impotence is caused when the penis fails to get hard or stay hard enough for sex, all or most of the time. Impotence is NOT an occasional failure of erection, premature ejaculation, decrease in sexual desire or failure to ejaculate.

Long-term diabetes also causes nerve damage, which may be a contributing factor.

"Impaired erections are associated with diabetes, but this complication is by no means inevitable; it only occurs among 50-60% of all men with diabetes over age 50," according to Joseph Fallon, MD, a board certified endocrinologist. "Good sugar control, especially with Viagra use, is important."
The two basic physical requirements for producing an erection are healthy blood vessels and healthy nerves in the penis. Diabetes affects both the blood supply and nerve endings. There are fewer chances of getting and sustaining an erection if you are diabetic.

The factors which contribute to diabetes are also responsible for Impotence .The various factors which are responsible for diabetes and impotence are: lack of exercise, smoking, alcohol and high blood pressure. A healthier lifestyle should be adopted by people in order to reduce the risk of developing diabetes and impotence. The key for not getting affected by all these things is the healthy lifestyle.
The good news is that there are now a number of very effective medications and treatments available for diabetic person suffering from impotence.
• Now various drugs are available for impotence. They had brought revolutionized effects in the life of men. Earlier they were facing this problem and there was no solution for it. Since the introduction of impotence drugs like Viagra, 003200 and Levitra, the treatment of erectile dysfunction has become easier and curable. These drugs should be taken after consulting doctor. The condition of impotence differs from person to person so a drug prescribed also differs. These drugs work as relaxant. They help in stimulating blood flow.

• Other than ED drugs, there are few more treatments also available. These include impotence vacuum pumps, impotence injections, and penile implants.
Impotence and Diabetes are correlated.

Impotence is caused when the penis fails to get hard or stay hard enough for sex all or most of the time. Impotence is NOT an occasional failure of erection, premature ejaculation, decrease in sexual desire or failure to ejaculate.

In Diabetes body is unable to produce or process insulin properly. Insulin is a hormone required to convert sugar and starches into energy, which is needed to make the body work efficiently.

Before taking these pills you contact your medical specialist, who will discuss the range of impotence treatment options available and their suitability. One should not take any medicine without consulting doctor.

What happens when someone has diabetes and they drink? I have a friend that drinks alcohol (not the hard stuff) but he has diabetes. I don't know what to do because I'm really close to this friend. He always reacts the worst to me out of everyone only when he drinks. I just need some help on how to deal with him and what happens to him with it? Plus how can I get him to stop drinking. Oh I should add that he drinks a 12 pack of Natural Light.
